The image of the woman on this front cover really stands out and catches your eye, it is a medium shot allowing to focus on her top half of her body. This is encouraged by the fashion items she is wearing. The model is posed with her hand resting behind her head, this creates a sensual effect and therefore, making the reader want to read on. Her positioning is also used to reinforce this idea of an old fashioned 'hollywood star'. The cover lines are in pink, which contrasts with her black dress. The 'slumdog millionaire's Freida Pinto' is printed in capitals with a larger font, to emphasise that she is the main highlight of this magazine issue. I am hoping to also get this effect with my magazine linking the theme of fashion with music. This contrasts with the font and bright pink colour of the words.
